    Q:
How to replace the radiator for the 4.3, 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0L engines on Chevrolet Silverado 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin Radiator replacement tasks for 4.3, 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0l engines by first removing cooling fan components and shrouds then cutting off the Radiator outlet hose for 4.3l engines or the hose connections used for 4.8l, 5.3l and 6.0l engines. You must detach engine oil cooler lines and transmission oil cooler lines from the Radiator before removing the Radiator bolts and the entire Radiator unit. Position the Radiator in its original place before tightening the Radiator bolts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). The last step requires installing the cooling fan followed by replacing the shroud while also reattaching transmission oil cooler lines and engine oil cooler lines to the Radiator when applicable.
