The steps for Fan Shroud replacement start with removing the Fan Shroud retainers then proceeding to remove the bolts before taking off the upper Fan Shroud. First install the upper Fan Shroud before fastening its bolts while tightening them to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Fix the Fan Shroud retainers before you attach the inlet radiator hose retainer and Throttle Body heater hose retainer to the Fan Shroud (if present). Service the air cleaner outlet duct by securely clamping it at the Throttle Body to 4 n.m (35 lb in) and at the mass airflow sensor to the same specified torque value.
