Inlet Hose

Before replacing the surge tank inlet hose , you should first empty the cooling system. You should next adjust the surge tank inlet hose clamp to the Radiator and take out the inlet hose. After that, take the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank and put the clamp back at the surge tank. To connect the surge tank inlet hose , place it in the surge tank and fix the clamp at that spot to secure it. Then, install the surge tank inlet hose to the Radiator and position its clamp to the Radiator. Finally, fill the cooling system.

Draining the cooling system is necessary before commencing with surge tank inlet hose replacement. The first step includes sliding back the surge tank inlet hose clamp from the Radiator before removing the inlet hose from the Radiator. Move the surge tank inlet hose clamp to the surge tank before removing the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank. Start installation by attaching the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank followed by clamping the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank. You should start by placing the surge tank inlet hose clamp onto the Radiator before installing the surge tank inlet hose to the Radiator. Finally, fill the cooling system.

Completely draining the cooling system must happen before replacing the surge tank inlet hose. First move the surge tank inlet hose clamp from around the Radiator then remove the surge tank inlet hose from the Radiator. First secure the surge tank inlet hose clamp onto the surge tank before extracting the surge tank inlet hose from its position at the tank. Follow these steps for installation: place the surge tank inlet hose into the surge tank before securing the surge tank inlet hose clamp on the tank. Start by installing the surge tank inlet hose to the Radiator then position the surge tank inlet hose clamp to the Radiator. Finally, fill the cooling system.

To replace the coolant air bleed hose, first, remove the engine sight shield if necessary and then the generator as well. Reposition the coolant air bleed hose clamp at the Throttle Body and take off the coolant air bleed hose from the Throttle Body. If the vehicle has the 4 point pipe, displace the hose clamp at the pipe and remove the coolant air bleed hose from the pipe. For cars which have 2 point pipe, move the hose clamp on the pipe and remove the coolant air bleed hose from the pipe. For installation, if fitted with the 2 point pipe, attach the coolant air bleed hose to the pip and reposition the hose clamp to the pipe. With the 4 point pipe equipped set up in the coolant air bleed hose from the pipe and position the hose at pipe. Next, place the coolant air bleed hose to the Throttle Body while positioning the coolant air bleed hose clamp on the Throttle Body. Replace the generator and, if needed, the engine sight shield. Last but not least, add on engine coolant if necessary.

Begin by draining the cooling system.

Reinstall the power steering pump and generator, followed by the bypass hose and its clamps at the water crossover and water pump.

First, drain the cooling system.

Reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp from the surge tank and remove the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank.

Install the water pump outlet pipe into the engine oil cooler assembly, followed by a new water pump outlet pipe to water pump gasket.

First, drain the cooling system.

Reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp from the surge tank and remove the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank.

Grasp the outlet hose and pull to disengage it from the heater and blower module, regardless of RPO C36.

Use the Heater Line Quick Connect Release Tool (J 43181) to close around the surge tank outlet hose (black connector) and firmly pull it into the quick connect end of the outlet hose.

Grasp the outlet hose and pull to disengage it from the heater and blower module.

Place a new gasket onto the water outlet and lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine coolant before installing the water outlet.

Reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp from the radiator and remove the surge tank inlet hose from the radiator.

For 4.3L, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, or 8.1L engines, remove the hose from the radiator. For the 6.6L engine, remove it from the radiator as well.

Reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp from the surge tank and remove the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank.

Reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp from the radiator and remove the surge tank inlet hose from the radiator.

Clean the sealing surface after removing the gasket.
