How to remove and replace the Seat Cushion Pad and trim cover on GMC Sierra 3500?

The procedure for seat cushion trim cover and pad replacement starts with front nuts removal beneath the seat cushion then moving onto removing the front seat trim panel. The lumbar wire harness needs disconnecting and the lumbar cable needs unsnapping for vehicles having power lumbar features. When replacing the seat cushion trim cover and pad disconnect the electrical connectors and detach the pressure sensor from the front passenger seat frame if your vehicle has an Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence System. Start by pulling the seat cushion forward from its rear plastic holders to lift it off then uninstall the lumbar actuator and seat switch bezel.
