How to replace the fan shroud on GMC Sonoma?

Before Fan Shroud replacement start with the air intake duct assembly from the 2.2l engine by unscrewing clamps first then unpinning push clamps and extracting the duct from the Fan Shroud. The procedure requires removal of upper Fan Shroud bolts before disconnection of the coolant recovery reservoir hose from the lower Fan Shroud to complete an upper Fan Shroud uninstallation. The Fan Shroud requires elevation until its Radiator locating tabs break free so you can extract the shroud from the vehicle. Place the lower Fan Shroud next to the Radiator while pushing on the Fan Shroud to secure its locating tabs. Put the upper Fan Shroud into position before securing its bolts to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Reinstall the coolant recovery reservoir hose to the lower Fan Shroud while users must also install the air intake duct assembly if their vehicle features the 2.2l engine and tighten the intake air duct clamps to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.). Altogether push in the push pins as the last installation step.
