The replacement process starts by lifting and sustaining the vehicle while using a transmission jack as transmission support. Climb the transmission before loosening its support retaining nuts so you can raise the transmission above the mount weight. Start by taking out the transmission mount from the vehicle after you've raised the transmission enough to remove its adapter mounting bolts. Insert the transmission mount into your vehicle then torque the transmission mount bolts to 45 nm 33 ft. Lbs for 2.2l engines or 50 nm 37 ft. Lbs for 4.3l engines at the transmission or transfer case adapter. Position the transmission mount at the transmission support maintaining a torque of 57 nm (42 ft-lbs) on any retaining nuts. Afterwards, remove the transmission jack while lowering the vehicle.
