Transmission Mount

The first step for transmission mount replacement requires proper vehicle suspension and elevation methods. Begin by removing bolts securing the transmission mount shield and then remove the shield itself if present. A transmission jack should support the transmission while you remove any retaining nuts or bolts found on the transmission mount. When available remove the transmission mount shield bracket. Attach the rear bolts to 33 Nm while using 24 ft.lbs of torque and tighten the front bolts to 50 Nm at 37 ft.lbs. Finally, lower the vehicle.
