    Q:
How to replace the wiper arm on Buick Regal? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the Wiper Arm start by getting all the replacement parts particularly Wiper Arm puller (J 39822). Enter accy mode while placing the Wiper Switch into pulse. Remember to turn off the engine only after you see the windshield wipers at the lowest part of their pattern without movement. Unplug the washer hose from the washer nozzle before you remove the nut cover and extract both the nut and the Wiper Arm from the wiper transmission drive shaft. When rockin does not release the Wiper Arm use the Wiper Arm pullers j 39822 device to take it off. After removal take the Wiper Blade off the mounting arm. To start the process attach the Wiper Blade first onto the Wiper Arm base. First put the Wiper Arm on the drive shaft with the transmission shaft in accy position and pulse switch to make wipers work. Shut off engine power when the windshield wiper unit reaches its lowest position during wiping. Keep the measuring tool straight while attaching it to the Wiper Blade and insert the pin or drill bit of same size into the Wiper Arm during installation. Keep the appropriate space between the wiper shaft and air inlet components: set the right wiper at 97-107 mm (3.82-4.21 inches) and left wiper at 12-147 mm (4.92-5.78 inches). Fasten the drive shaft and arm nut by turning it 30 n.m (22 lb ft) to operate the wiper transmission. Transfer the Wiper Arm pin before mounting the cover onto the nut. Apply windshield washer solvent on the hose then attach it to the washer nozzle for simplified installation. Check the wiper movement before turning the system off.

    Q:
How to replace the wiper arm on Chevrolet Impala? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin the Wiper Arm replacement by turning on the ignition and selecting delay mode, then pressing the ignition button when the wipers stop at the bottom position. Tear off the washer hose from the nozzle then unlatch and remove the nut that keeps the Wiper Arm in place. You can remove the Wiper Arm from its wiper transmission drive shaft using the Wiper Arm puller tool (J 39822). When installing, point the measuring tool straight up from the Wiper Blade and use either a pin or a drill bit of the same size to relieve the Wiper Arm spring tension. Encase the wiper arms over the wiper transmission drive shafts with specific positioning. Set the right arm 3.82 to 4.21 inches and left arm 4.92 to 5.78 inches apart from the air inlet screen. Secure the Wiper Arm nut using a torque of 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Push the pin out of the Wiper Arm then put on the cover over the nut before attaching the washer hose back to the nozzle. Check the Windshield Wiper system by switching the wipers on for a proper evaluation.

    Q:
How to replace the wiper arm on Chevrolet Monte Carlo? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by powering on the ignition, setting the Wiper Switch to delay, and shutting off power while the wiper arms rest at the bottom of their movement. Unplug the washer hose from the nozzle assembly and free the nut cover to remove and detach the wiper nut. Push the Wiper Arm puller tool j 39822 to remove the Wiper Arm from the wiper transmission drive shaft. To ease wiper spring tension hold the measuring tool at 90 degrees with the Wiper Blade then apply a pin or a drill bit of matching size into the Wiper Arm. Place the wiper arms onto the wiper transmission drive shafts while setting the right arm 97-107mm from the end to the air inlet screen and placing the left arm 125-147 mm from the blade tip to the air inlet screen. Fasten the Wiper Arm nut by turning it to 30 n.m (22 lb-ft) torque. Put the washer hose back to its nozzle connection after you attach a Wiper Arm cover over the securing nut and take out its mounting pin. End the process by turning on the windshield wipers and checking if they work correctly.
