    Q:
How to replace the drive belt on Buick LaCrosse? Posted by Customer
    A:
The process for Drive Belt replacement starts by elevating the vehicle. You need to start by removing the right engine splash shield and then use a clockwise motion on the Drive Belt tensioner to free the tension. First remove the generator Drive Belt from its position before releasing the tensioner slowly. The Drive Belt should be removed at the accessory drive pulleys. The first step for replacement is to secure the right engine splash shield then lower the vehicle to the ground. Before setting it into place use the tensioner to turn it clockwise so you can install the Drive Belt onto the generator. The Drive Belt installation process requires proper alignment into the accessory drive pulleys grooves before the mechanic can release the tensioner at a slow pace.

    Q:
How to Service and Repair the Drive Belt on Buick LaCrosse? Posted by Customer
    A:
Raising the vehicle should be the starting point for Drive Belt replacement. The next step requires removal of the right engine splash shield. Tools are used to unlock tension on the Drive Belt tensioner through clockwise rotation before removing the Drive Belt from each of the generator and accessory drive pulleys. Post-removal the technician should let go of the tensioner while maintaining a careful pace. The first step for installation starts with putting back the right engine splash shield followed by lowering the vehicle. The first step for Drive Belt replacement involves positioning it on the accessory drive pulley followed by clockwise tensioner rotation and guide it to the generator. A carefull alignment of the Drive Belt with the accessory drive pulleys' grooves should be confirmed before the tensioner release is made gradually.

    Q:
How to replace the drive belt on Chevrolet Equinox? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step in Drive Belt replacement involves removing the air cleaner assembly. The j 39914 serpentine belt tensioner unloader allows you to spin the Drive Belt tensioner which lets you loosen Drive Belt tension to extract it from right idler pulley. Time to make the j 39914 tensioner spring tension neutral before taking it off from the Drive Belt tensioner. Engine front support during work without vehicle elevation requires placing a floor jack with wood block between lift point and engine Oil Pan so that the block bears the engine weight. Vehicle engine lift procedures require the usage of engine support fixture (J45703-B) to provide engine support. Move on to remove the right Engine Mount together with the Drive Belt from the pulleys which remain. The Drive Belt installation process starts by placing it on all the pulleys except the right idler pulley after which the right Engine Mount can be reinstalled. Engine support operations require either dismantling of the floor jack or removing the engine support fixture depending on the selected method of support. The j 39914 tool needs to be used to adjust the Drive Belt tensioner toward the opposite direction from the belt before placing it on the right idler pulley. Move the j 39914 from the tensioner and permit it to grasp the Drive Belt before removing the j 39914 manually. And lastly you must check that the Drive Belt lies correctly on all pulleys (1-8) before reinstalling the air cleaner assembly.

    Q:
How to replace the drive belt on Chevrolet Monte Carlo? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the Drive Belt, make sure that the Drive Belt tensioner mark is within the specified range on the tensioner housing. Use a 3/8 drive breaker bar to loosen the Drive Belt tensioner to relief from the Drive Belt, remove the Drive Belt. For the installation, install the Drive Belt into all the pulleys except the generator pulley and turn the tensioner of the Drive Belt to the pulley of generator.
