    Q:
How to replace the right side engine mount on Chevrolet Equinox? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before starting to replace the right side Engine Mount the air cleaner assembly should first be removed from the vehicle. The engine support fixture allows you to support the engine before you can raise and support the vehicle. The Engine Mount to bracket bolts and the Engine Mount to frame rail nuts must be removed before you pull out the Engine Mount from the vehicle. Place the Engine Mount on the frame rail studs then install the frame rail stud nuts with torque at 110 nm (81 lb ft). Secure the Engine Mount to bracket bolts onto their respective holes by hand tightening the bolts with precision alignment. Proceed to tighten these bolts at 50 nm (81 lb ft) force while lowering the vehicle and then take out the engine support. You need to reinstall the air cleaner assembly as the last step.
