Remove the cable from the mounting bracket in the same manner as for cargo and passenger vehicles.

First, release the park brake and remove the park brake pedal.

Pass the new intermediate cable through the cable guide.

For cutaway vehicles, install the cable to the mounting bracket until the locking tabs snap into place.

Roll back the carpet to access the cable anchor nut and grommet.
