The first step to replace an Air Suspension Compressor involves removing the automatic level control compressor shield. Drive the vehicle up to a height and support it before you remove the spring clip from the air line t-fitting base to deflate the system. The next step involves removing the rear bumper extension while disconnecting the air line from the automatic level control air dryer. First disconnect the electrical connections from the automatic level control Air Suspension Compressor and then remove the mounting nuts before you extract the compressor from the vehicle. You will hang the automatic level control Air Suspension Compressor on its bracket using the hook followed by reconnecting electrical components and attaching the air dryer line. Position the compressor shield and fasten the underbody-mounted compressor by tightening nuts up to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs). Reinstall the rear bumper extension and then lower the vehicle.

Once installation is complete replace the rear bumper extension while lowering the vehicle.
