    The first step to replace the front door interior handle requires the removal of trim panel and water deflector. Drill the rivet head with a 5 mm (0.2-in) drill bit and advance the door handle to remove the inside door handle assembly. Disconnect both control rods from their connection to the handle and the lock lever. To install the hardware you need to link the control rods to handle and lever then put the handle system in the slot until it reaches the rear position. The installation requires use of J34940 Rivet Gun (J34940) to secure the handle rivet before the water deflector and trim panel can be put back into position.

    Starting the repair and service of the front door interior handle requires first removing the entire inside door handle assembly. The removal of inside door handle bracket from the door depends on drilling out the rivets with a 1/4 in drill bit. The Rivet Gun (J 34940) will secure the inside door handle bracket to the door using rivets before you reinstall both parts.

    The first step to replace the rear side door outside handle is removing both the trim panel along with the water deflector. First detach the handle control rod from the clip retainer by removing the handle mounting bolts before separating the outside handle from the door. The installation method starts with attaching the handle control rod to the handle clip retainer. Before installing the cylinder lock replace the inside of the lock case and keyway with GM P/N 12345120 lubricant or another suitable product. Before performing the installation place the handle assembly upside down and insert the handle control rod through the hole of the lock then right the assembly upright. You should first tighten the 4 N.m (35 lb in) mounted bolts on the outside handle then add the water deflector and conclude with the trim panel installation.
