    The replacement process starts with recovering refrigerant from the system as the first step. You need to disconnect the Evaporator hose assembly first at the accumulator with its snap clamp and the right lower frame rail hold down. Begin by disconnecting the control cable of the temperature sensor while removing the fastener that secures the Evaporator hose. The Evaporator core must be freed of its Evaporator hose assembly and the upper filler panel needs removal next. After removing the nut from the Evaporator hose assembly's condenser retention point, disconnect the assembly from the condenser to enable Evaporator hose assembly removal. During installation sequence first join the Evaporator hose assembly with the condenser and tighten the Evaporator hose fastener to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Connect the Evaporator hose assembly to its positioning on the Evaporator core then secure the nut at 24 n.m (18 lb ft). The Evaporator hose assembly needs to be connected to the accumulator and fastened to 20 n.m (15 lb ft) torque while placed in the snap clamp on the accumulator. Fasten the Evaporator hose assembly through the right lower frame rail hold down as well as the temperature sensor electrical connector. After a/c system recharging perform a leak test on all repaired or reinstalled component fittings with the halogen leak detector (J 39400). You should complete the installation of the upper filler panel after finishing all steps.
