Begin by taking away the upper filler panel alongside its fastener from the discharge hose before you detach the discharge hose from the condenser. After lifting the vehicle check its position using supports and remove the front air deflector from its place. Disassemble the discharge hose fastener at the A/C Compressor and eliminate the electrical connector from the a/c refrigerant pressure sensor. The compressor operation requires a discharge hose removal step followed by discharge hose extraction. When installing the sealing washers need to be replaced when they present wear signs because they do not need lubrication. Secure the discharge hose onto the compressor by installing and tightening its fastener to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Connect the electrical connector to the a/c refrigerant pressure sensor while lowering the vehicle position and fasten the discharge hose with the condenser using 20 n.m (15 lb ft) torque. To finish the installation the a/c system should be recharged while conducting a leak test followed by the front air deflector installation and upper filler panel reinstallation with an electronic halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) applied as needed.
