To change the rear brake hose, lift the vehicle and support using safety stands, first. Remove the brake hose from the brake pipe fitting using a back up wrench and remove the retainer from the brake hose, as well as remove brake pipe from the brake junction block. Then, take out the brake junction block mounting bolt and the brake hose. While installing, make sure that the rear flex hose is not twisted and does not touch any other part. Mounting bolt for the brake junction block is to be installed and tightened 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.), the brake hose to be connected to brake junction block and tightening to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.). Join the brake hose fitting to the brake pipe fitting and tighten it with force of 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.). Bleed the brake system, remove the safety stands, and lift up the vehicle.
