Displace the a/c evaporator hose from the accumulator, then, the right headlamp to reach the evaporator overflow hose where it is attached to the condenser, and finally displace it from the condenser. Then, disconnect the evaporator hose from the accumulator cover and evaporator line fastener from the evaporator, as well as the a/c evaporator hose. Install the a/c evaporator hose to the evaporator, and connect the evaporator line fastener and the connection between the A/C Hose and the evaporator by tightening it to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Next, attach the evaporator hose to the accumulator securing it to a 20 n.m (15 lb ft) and then attach the a/c evaporator hose to the condenser and secure that connection to a 20 n.m (15 lb ft) as well. Install the right headlamp, guide the evaporator hose back into the accumulator cover, and reconnect the negative cable of the battery. Recharge the a/c system and inspect for leaks by using the electronic halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
