Install the brake hose into the bracket under suspension weight while avoiding kinks and align the fitting with the bracket notch by using the hose paint stripe as your reference point. Fit the retainer to the hose fitting on the bracket after using a back up wrench to join the brake pipe to the brake hose. Maintain the bracket and pipe from bending while tightening the brake pipe tube nut to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.). Install the rear tire and wheel while checking that the hose stays clear of all suspension components. Correct the situation if it occurs. Decrease the vehicle height and perform a brake bleeding procedure.
