Before starting work on the rear sway bar bushing the vehicle needs proper elevation and sturdy support. The first step entails removing the bolt which secures the sway bar insulator bracket before taking off this bracket. The next step requires removal of the sway bar insulator from its position on the sway bar. Start the installation procedure with the sway bar by placing the sway bar insulator onto the sway bar followed by attaching the sway bar insulator bracket. Fix the sway bar bracket bolts along with nuts that need a torque value of 48 Nm (35 ft-lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.

The service procedures for sway bar bushing repair begin with properly supporting the vehicle after it reaches a sufficient height. The process begins with removing the sway bar insulator bracket bolt. After that, you should remove the sway bar insulator bracket. The next step involves taking off the sway bar insulator from the sway bar. Install by first positioning the sway bar insulator onto the sway bar then fitting the sway bar insulator bracket behind it. After securing the sway bar bracket bolts to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) you can lower the vehicle.

Install the left and right side stabilizer shaft insulator clamp bolts, tightening them to 42 Nm (31 ft. lbs.).

Raise and support the vehicle.

The left and right side stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolts and then the brackets themselves.

It should be tightened to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).

Place the left and right side stabilizer shaft insulators onto the stabilizer shaft.
