First remove caps from the tail/turn lamp screws then unscrew the screws that maintain the tail/turn lamp attachment to the rear quarter panel. Use the rearward motion to break the tail/turn lamp free from its quarter panel position while you remove the tail/turn lamp electrical connector before removing the lamp assembly. To perform installation connect the electrical connector to the tail/turn lamp before positioning the lamp on the quarter panel while applying fastener caution guidelines. Screw the tail/turn lamp into the rear quarter panel while tightening each screw to 2 Nm (18 lb in). Place the lamp cover caps back on afterward. Complete the inspection of the tail/turn lamp before ending the rear compartment closure procedure.
