Remove the screw that holds the shift lever to the Steering Column after which you can pull out the shift lever from its position. Installation requires the shift lever placement onto the Steering Column while following the service cautions mentioned in the fastener notice. Secure the shift lever with the screw according to the torque setting of 22 nm (16 ft. Lbs.). The shift lever seal should be reinstalled onto the upper Steering Column trim cover.
