    The process of replacing the wheelhouse panel starts by removing push-pins from the wheelhouse splash shield and bolt retaining the splash shield to the rocker molding, after which you should take out the wheelhouse splash shield from the vehicle. Install the wheelhouse splash shield into the vehicle by following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions and use push-pins to fasten it to the body. You should complete the installation process by putting the bolt through which holds the wheelhouse splash shield to the rocker molding and tightening it to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

    Start by removing the bolt that keeps the panel on the rocker panel before you remove the 2 screws holding it to the rear fascia followed by disassembly of the 4 push-pins securing the wheelhouse. You can then take off the panel. Place the wheelhouse panel onto the vehicle and fasten it with 4 push-pins to the wheelhouse structure. After placing the panel against the rear fascia install its 2 screws with a torque of 2 N.m (18 lb in) while securing the bolt that anchors the panel to the rocker panel moldings with 7 N.m (62 lb in).

    In order to change the front fender splash shield, first jack up and prop the vehicle up, then remove the tire and wheel assembly. Then, remove the push-pins from the inner fender splash shield and remove the inner fender splash shield from the vehicle. Proceed by removing push-pins from the outer fender splash shield then remove the outer fender splash shield. To install, begin by reinstalling the outer fender splash shield back onto the car then install the rearward push-pin, the rest of the push-pins to the outer fender splash shield. Next, fit the inner fender splash shield to the vehicle, and fasten it using the push-pins. Finally, reinstall the tire and wheel assembly and bring the vehicle to the ground.
