Control Module

You need to reach the control module by first pulling the seat handle at the rear then taking away the retainers from the control module cover before removing the cover from the vehicle. Unplug the wiring harness from the control module then take out the control module from its position inside the vehicle. Put the control module into the vehicle position before hooking up the wiring harness to its designated spot on the control module. The process to complete RTD module programming involves a scan tool connected to the data link connector (DLC) with ignition ON but engine OFF followed by the selection of SPECIAL FUNCTIONS for the RTD module on the scan tool and execution of the instructions in order to complete RTD module programming. You should access SPECIAL FUNCTIONS through the scan tool after completion of programming to execute ALC trimset instructions according to the display. Reinstall the cover while utilizing the retainers designed for the control module cover followed by seating the roll-down mechanism to its original posture.

In order to replace the Electronic Suspension Control Module in a Tahoe, a Yukon, or Escalade, take off the right side interior trim panel and disconnect the electrical connectors from the module, and remove the screw. Your next step is to slide the module from the bracket and remove it from the vehicle. For installation, slide in the new module in the bracket, installing the screw by using a 1.6 Nm (14 inch lb.). Make the connection of the electrical connectors to the module. Recalibrate it if you are replacing the module by connecting the scan tool to the Data Line Connector (DLC) and turning the ignition ON with the engine OFF and refer to instructions on scan tool readout. Lastly, install the right side interior trim panel.

Lastly, install the right side interior trim panel which is appropriate for the type of your vehicle.
