Push the harness and grommet through the plenum hole then take out the three screws securing the wiper system drive module and remove the module from the vehicle. Separate the drive link from the wiper motor crank arm with the help of Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232); remove the screws that hold the wiper motor in before removing it from the wiper drive system module. For the installation, the wiper motor should be mounted on the wiper drive system module and use the screws to fasten it to the 8 N.m (71 lb in). Mount the drive link to the wiper motor crank arm using the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529) and then load down the wiper module down in the upper plenum with the nose of the motor oriented downward. Twist the module to position the motor nose toward the back end of the car and fix thewiper drive system module with three screws and tighten it to 8 NM (71 lb in). Push the harness and grommet into the plenum hole, reattach the wiper motor harness connector, and install the harness grommet to the plenum hole.
