Apply pressure to the air pump wiring harness electrical connector clip and move it to release the clip-connector from the bracket. Lower the car by removing the pump nuts than follow with lowering the vehicle. Unfasten the air pump feed tube if needed to extract the pump after which remove the equipment. The air pump should be mounted onto the bracket before raising and supporting the vehicle for installation. After mounting the air pump nuts onto their mounting positions, tighten them to 89 lb in (10 Nm). Install the air pump wiring harness electrical connector clip onto the bracket before uniting it with the engine wiring harness electrical connector. Fasten the quick connect fitting of the air feed tube to the pump. From under the hood position the pump hose quick connector to directly connect it with the pump. Replacement of the air cleaner upper housing completes the installation process.
