    The hose clamp pliers (J38185) along with hose clamp (J39529) constitute the essential tools needed during Radiator replacement. The first step starts with taking out the air cleaner assembly together with the coolant recovery container. Beginning with the hose clamp pliers (J38185) users can unfasten the clamp from the Radiator inlet before separating the Radiator inlet hose from the Radiator. The hose clamp pliers (J38185) helps release the clamp on the Radiator outlet so the outlet heater hose can be easily taken away. Remove all automatic transmission cooler lines together with engine oil cooler lines from the system. Begin by removing the three Fan Shroud bolts on the Radiator support then the three Fan Shroud bolts along the sides of the Fan Shroud and proceed to take out both the Radiator and the Radiator insulators (1, 3). Check the Radiator and its insulators while also inspecting the hoses and clamps before performing replacement of all faulty components. Place the new Radiator insulators (1, 3) followed by the Radiator when installing the system. Use Fan Shroud bolts to attach the bolts on the top of the Radiator support then secure them at 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). Follow this step by fastening the Fan Shroud bolts on the Fan Shroud sides with a torque of 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). The engine oil cooler lines and automatic transmission oil cooler lines need to be reconnected after installing the Radiator inlet hose onto its proper location. The hose clamp pliers (J38185) should be used to tighten the hose clamp situated near the Radiator inlet housing. Next implement the outlet heater hose and secure it with the outlet heater hose clamp (J39529). After reinstalling the coolant recovery reservoir and the air cleaner assembly you should check both automatic transmission fluid level and engine oil level.
