    The replacement process for rear door latches demands first the removal of door trim panels and door modules as well as the inside Door Handle. The water deflector should be removed first before disconnecting the outside Door Handle rod from the door latch through the clip opening process. The inside handle rod must be detached from the rod guide before pushing the inside lock rod grommet through the opening. The door latch removal process includes unscrewing its fasteners while maintaining the attachment of the inside Door Handle rod and lock rod. Cut the electrical connection then take off the door latch handle rod together with its lock rod. Installation requires attaching the inside handle rod to the door latch as well as the lock rod and plugging in the electrical connector before installing the door latch into the door while tightening door latch screws to 10 n.m (89 lb in). To mount the outside Door Handle rod on the door latch you must put the rod inside the clip then close it. Inspection of the outside Door Handle should come first followed by attaching the inside handle rod to the rod guide. The installation process ends with repositioning the water deflector alongside inside Door Handle along with door module and door trim panel.
