    Q:
How to replace the blower motor resistor assembly with RPO Code C60 on Chevrolet Blazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
Check first that the metal coils of the blower resistor do not make contact with metal elements to stop internal circuitry damage when swapping to rpo code c60. Uninstall the a/c control Relay bracket and its attached Relay before disconnecting the blower resistor wires. Unfasten the mounting screw of the Blower Motor Resistor from the ip if needed. Use a sharp utility knife to make clean cuts from all four sides of the access cover to detach it for access to three attaching screws. Insert the new Blower Motor Resistor assembly into place then fasten it using the mounting screw and apply 1.9 n.m (17 lb in) torque force. Place a thin black sealant stripe along the cut edges and let it dry for 15 minutes or until it forms a skin surface. Put back the stud onto the dash panel then fit in the resistor harness before placing the a/c Relay bracket back into its designated spot on the body.

    Q:
How to replace the blower motor resistor assembly (C60) on Chevrolet S10? Posted by Customer
    A:
You need to avoid grounding the metal coils of the blower resistor against any metal parts to protect its internal components. First disassemble the control Relay bracket with the Relay then disconnect the blower resistor wiring. Unscrew your hand for access to the ip and then remove the Blower Motor Resistor mounting screw. Use a sharp utility knife to cut a square opening in the case where you will find three attaching screws on the access cover. Insert the new Blower Motor Resistor assembly and fasten it with its mounting screw at 1.9 n.m tightness setting. Run black weather-strip adhesive along the cut-line edges until it sets up for 15 minutes to form a skin. Reposition the stud and connect the resistor harness before putting in the a/c Relay bracket.

    Q:
How to replace the blower motor resistor (RPO C60) on GMC Jimmy? Posted by Customer
    A:
When replacing the bwloer motor resistor (RPO C60) ensure that its metal coils do not touch metal surfaces since doing so can harm the internal wiring. Sever all Blower Motor Resistor connections after taking out the a/c control Relay bracket and the Relay. You can separate the dash panel stud when you need to remove the bolt that secures the Blower Motor Resistor. To keep the access cover visible to customers you must make four straight clean cuts on its sides to reach the three attachment screws. Push in the new Blower Motor Resistor and lock it with the mounting screw at 1.9 n.m (17 lb in). Place a thin black seam adhesive line along the cut edges and keep it in place for 15 minutes until the material develops its sealant surface. Reinsert the stud into the dash panel and reconnect the resistor harness before attaching the a/c Relay bracket to its body position.

    Q:
How to replace the blower motor resistor assembly (C60) on GMC Jimmy? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before replacing the Blower Motor Resistor Assembly (C60) avoid letting the metal coils ground to metal components as this will damage internal parts. Start the job by taking off both the relay bracket and A/C control relay together. Then disconnect the blower resistor harness. When needed detach the IP stud first before removing its mounting screw. To reveal the mounting screws of the access cover use a sharp utility knife to cut 4 sides straight. This ensures you can reinstall the access cover to maintain its visibility for customers. Take out the blower motor resistor assembly now. Insert the new blower motor resistor shield and tighten its mounting screw to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in). Apply black weather-strip adhesive at the cut-lines in a thin bead then wait 15 minutes for it to form a skin. Fasten the bracket to the dash panel when needed afterward plug the connector into the resistor assembly and replace the A/C relay in its body.
