The first step to replace right rear axle shaft seal involves supporting the vehicle at its elevated position while draining the rear Differential fluid. The exhaust system and spare tire should be removed while moving the propeller shaft to the vehicle side and securing it with mechanics wire but leaving it attached. Support the rear Differential using a transmission jack while you proceed to remove both the propeller shaft and right rear wheel drive shaft. You need to first lower the Differential by taking out the right rear Differential support bushing bolt, left Differential mount and right Differential support bushing nut before reaching the axle shaft seal. Apply the j 8092 driver handle together with j 33832 rear bearing installer to detach the axle shaft seal. To put in the new axle shaft seal you should mount the j 8092 onto the j 33832 then apply this tool combination to perform installation. Put the Differential in position inside the rear cradle and put on the left rear support bolt followed by the right Differential support bushing nut and left Differential mount . After removing the transmission jack stand you must reinstate the right rear wheel drive shaft in addition to the propeller shaft and exhaust system. Put the spare tire back into position while completing the desired fluid amount in the rear Differential.

A mechanic should start by draining the rear Differential while supporting the vehicle at a height during replacing the left rear Axle Shaft seal. Detach the exhaust components and spare tire after moving the propeller shaft toward the side and securing it with mechanics wire. Proceed to remove the propeller shaft together with the left rear wheel drive shaft before securely supporting the rear Differential with a transmission jack stand. The left rear Differential support bushing bolt and left Differential mount combined with the right Differential support bushing nut need removal before you can lower the Differential for access to the Axle Shaft seal. Remove the Axle Shaft seal by using the j 8092 (Driver Handle) along with the j 33832 (Rear Bearing Installer). To install your new Axle Shaft seal use the j 8092 to connect with the j 33832 and employ them together for the installation process. The Differential needs to be positioned in the rear cradle before installing the left rear support bolt along with the right Differential support bushing nut. Continue with the left Differential mount installation while you remove the transmission jack stand followed by left rear wheel drive shaft reinstallation. To complete the installation process the mechanic should install the propeller shaft then the exhaust system followed by removing the spare tire and adding fluid to the rear Differential.

A technician must support and elevate the vehicle before draining the Differential tank as the first step for right rear axle shaft seal installation. First place the spare tire alongside the removed exhaust system while using mechanics wire to secure the mounted propeller shaft after relocating it to one side. Support the rear Differential by using a transmission jack stand. After removing the right rear wheel drive shaft and the propeller shaft proceed to this stage. The right rear Differential support bushing bolt together with the left Differential mount and the right Differential support bushing nut need to be removed. You can install the new axle shaft seal by using the j 8092 - driver handle with the j 33832 - rear bearing installer when the Differential is in position. After placing the Differential inside the rear cradle you must start by installing the left rear support bolt and the right Differential support bushing nut followed by the left Differential mount. You can reinstall the right rear wheel drive shaft after removing the transmission jack stand and also reinstall the propeller shaft. After installing the exhaust system you should remove the spare tire while filling the rear Differential with fluid.

Lift and position the differential in the rear cradle, then install the left rear support bolt, the right differential support bushing nut, and the left differential mount.

Install the propeller shaft, the exhaust system, remove the spare tire, and fill the rear differential with fluid.

Remove the propeller shaft and the right rear wheel drive shaft, then support the rear differential with a transmission jack stand.
