    To replace the engine oil pressure sensor or switch, first, raise and support the vehicle. Disconnect the electrical connector from the engine oil pressure switch and remove the switch from oil filter adapter with Oil Pressure Switch Socket (J41712). For installation make sure that the engine oil pressure switch is installed on to the oil filter adapter with the Oil Pressure Switch Socket (J41712) and torque to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.). Connect the electrical connector after that to the engine oil pressure switch and lower the vehicle; inspect for oil leaks after starting the engine. Lastly, check the engine oil level to the full mark.

Pull the electrical connector from the engine oil pressure switch and unscrew the switch from the oil filter adapter with the J 417120 Oil Pressure Switch Socket (J 41712). Place the new engine oil pressure switch using the J 41712 to attach it to the oil filter adapter, so that it is tightened to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.). After installing, reconnect the electrical connector to the engine oil pressure switch, depress the vehicle, and check for oil leaks after switching on the engine. Finally, Keep the engine oil level to full mark.
