The first step to replace rear speakers includes lowering the rear compartment trim panel. Follow these steps first disconnect the electrical connectors of the speakers and remove the rear shelf trim panel. Once you remove the speaker fasteners you should take the rear speakers out of their position. You should install each rear speaker by first inserting it into the opening in the rear shelf according to the fastener notice in service precautions. Secure the fasteners and tighten them to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Finish the installation by inserting the rear shelf trim panel together with speaker electrical connector assembly then closing with the rear compartment trim.

The first step to replace rear speakers requires lowering the rear compartment trim. Remove the rear shelf trim panel after disconnecting the speaker electrical connectors. You should take out the speaker fasteners to access the rear speakers before their removal from the vehicle. Start the process of replacing Radio Front Side Door Speaker with the removal of the door trim panel. Start by detaching the electrical connection before unfastening the screws which hold the speaker inplace on the door frame. Remove the speaker after disconnecting power and removing its door attachment screws. The installation starts with plugging in the electrical connector followed by placing the speaker on the door frame. Use the Fastener Caution procedure to avoid damage to the vehicle during installation. Use screws to attach the speaker on the door frame and tighten them to 2 Nm (18 lb in). Reinstall the door trim panel as the last step.

Disconnect the upper door speaker electrical connector from the door harness.

Reconnect the upper door speaker electrical connector.

Lower the rear compartment trim and disconnect the speaker electrical connectors.

Begin by removing the door trim panel.

Remove the speaker fasteners and take out the speaker.

Reinstall the nuts securing the speaker to the electrical carrier and tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Place the upper door speaker/grille assembly back into the upper door trim panel, ensuring the speaker grille is properly seated.

Carefully pry the upper door speaker/grille assembly from the molding to remove it.

Reinstall the nuts to secure the speaker to the electrical carrier and tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Install the screws and tighten them to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

Secure the speaker with the 4 fasteners, tightening them to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

First, remove the front door trim panel.

Install the screws and tighten them to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

Reinstall the door trim panel.

Reinstall the body side trim panel.

Secure the speaker to the door frame with the screws, tightening them to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

First, remove the body side trim panel.

Reinstall the door trim panel.

Reinstall the door trim panel.
