    Q:
How to replace the power seat switch on Chevrolet S10? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before changing the power seat switch, take the seat out of the car. After that, unscrew the 3 fasteners that hold the trim panel to the seat and take out the electrical connection from the switch. The switch can be removed by pulling it off the plastic tabs and then unscrewing the assembly. Once done, slide the assembly into the trim panel, using the plastic clips as supports and plug the wire into the correct slot on the back of the switch. Place the 3 screws in the trim panel and secure it to the seat. Afterward, install the seat into your car.

    Q:
How to perform a Seat Switch replacement for the lumbar on GMC Jimmy? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first task involves detaching the vehicle seat from its position before starting the replacement of the lumbar switch. First disconnect the electrical connector from the switch then remove the trim panel securing screws before taking out the 3 screws. A snap motion of the switch disconnects it from the plastic retaining clips before the switch assembly is removed from the trim panel. Reinstall the seat in the vehicle after installing the trim panel using its 3 screws and connecting the electrical connector to the switch and placing the switch assembly into the plastic retaining clips of the trim panel.
