How to service and repair the turn signal switch on Chevrolet Cavalier? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin service and repair of the Turn Signal Switch by removing the trim pieces from the steering column. Begin by loosening the multifunction switch retention screws at the top of the steering column. Then separate the multifunction switch from the column through the screw holes. Untuck the electrical connections from the multifunction switch. Connect the electrical wires to the multifunction switch and put the switch onto its place on the steering column by pushing down the spring-loaded horn button. Place the multifunction switch onto the steering column and tighten its retaining screws to 4 newton-meters (36 inch-pounds). Install the steering column trims and test the multifunction switch operation.
