    Q:
How to service and repair the radiator hose inlet on Chevrolet Express 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service and repair of the Radiator inlet hose starts by draining part of the engine coolant from the system. Start by removing both the air cleaner assembly then disconnect the Radiator inlet hose from the Radiator. The Radiator inlet hose service requires removing it from the water outlet for all 4.3l engines but only from the water outlet for 5.0l, 5.7l and 6.5l and 8.1l engines. The spring-type clamps used to connect the Radiator hoses should be installed only on dry non-painted surfaces to achieve a proper seal. The reuse of spring-type clamps on aftermarket hoses is not recommended for proper hose sealing. The Radiator inlet hose should be installed at the water outlet position after properly seating it within the hose bracket for both 5.0l and 5.7l engines as well as 6.5l engines. The water outlet becomes the first connection for the hose before connecting the Radiator inlet hose to the Radiator with the 8.1l engine. The procedure ends with the installation of the air cleaner assembly and engine coolant refilling while performing final inspections for coolant leakage.

    Q:
How to service and repair the radiator hose outlet on GMC Savana 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The Radiator outlet hose requires servicing which must start with draining engine coolant. The service starts with detaching the Radiator outlet hose from the Radiator then moving onto the coolant hose from the vehicle before disconnecting the Radiator outlet hose from the Water Pump. During installation of the surge tank outlet hose on the 6.5l and bal models service vehicles you need to detach this hose from the Radiator outlet hose. During installation place Radiator hoses dry and non-painted surfaces to make sure the spring types clamps can form a secure seal at their hose connections. Aftermarket hoses should not use spring-type clamps more than once. The surge tank outlet hose installation sequence starts with attaching it to the Radiator outlet hose which then leads to the Water Pump and final step connects to the Radiator for the 6.5l and 8.1l models. Finally, refill the engine coolant.

    Q:
How to service and repair the radiator hose on GMC Savana 3500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start Radiator Hose repair and servicing steps by draining part of the engine coolant. You should begin by removing the hose from the radiator and proceed to remove it from the Thermostat Housing or the coolant pump before extracting the hose from the vehicle. Service technicians should remove the surge tank outlet hose from the lower coolant hose of the 6.5l diesel. Start by connecting the surge tank outlet hose to the lower coolant hose of the 6.5l diesel engine and afterward position the coolant hose at the coolant pump or Thermostat Housing before securing it to the radiator. Finally, refill the engine coolant.
