How to replace the blower motor resistor on 2000 Buick Century?

As the next step, disconnect the battery negative cable and remove the right side instrument panel insulator in order to replace the blower motor resistor. Unweld the electrical connectors, loosen the forward bolts, loosen the rearward bolt and remove the resistor. Replace the resistor, re-attach the electrical connectors, and replace the insulator.
