How to replace the Air Inlet Blend Door Actuator on 2000 Buick Century?

To replace the air inlet actuator, start by removing the right insulator for the instrument panel and the instrument panel compartment. Remove the vacuum line from the air inlet vacuum actuator; lift to release the actuator retaining tab and slid off the mounting bracket. Depressurize the actuator pressure, using the air inlet valve lever, detach the vacuum actuator plunger rod from the vacuum actuator and slide it out. To install taper the vacuum actuator plunger rod and attach it to the air inlet valve and stretch the plunger so that the actuator retaining tab is located above the mating base on the hvac module case. Push the vacuum actuator toward the hvac module case to lock the retaining tab, ensuring the Pushrod is not binding on the air inlet lever. Then, link vacuum harness connector to the air inlet vacuum actuator, then re-install the instrument panel compartment and the right instrument panel insulator.
