First remove the door trim panel followed by the removal of hinge fasteners from the door before taking out the hinge half from the door. The first step for installation requires users to put the body half of the hinge correctly before attaching the fasteners to the body and tightening them to 35 N.m (26 lb ft). Place the door half of the hinge at the marked positions on the door before securing it to the door fasteners at 34 N.m (24 lb ft). Install the door and door trim before adjusting the door position accurately and applying body color paint to any damage on the hinge fasteners.
