How to service and repair the parking brake cable on 2000 Cadillac DeVille?

In order to service parking braKE cable, elevate the vehicle, and dismount the tire. The cable system may be disconnected to relieve pressure, followed by the disconnection of rear parking brake vehicle cables. Take out both cables out of their brackets and detach them off the levers. Install the cables again, make sure all the connections are tight and then replace the tire.
