Start by rising the rear side door window completely before performing the replacement. Begin by removing door trim panel together with water deflector. Pull away the outside Door Handle rod from its position inside the door latch retainer clip. First expose the fastener for the outside Door Handle by taking out the large plug before removing the two fasteners holding the outside Door Handle in place. A user must lift the handle with attached latch rod after pressing upward on both lower retaining tabs. Install the Door Handle assembly into the door through the cutout using rod insertion before placing the handle correctly and applying force toward the metal while pushing up to allow retaining tabs to connect to the door material. Screw the outside Door Handle fasteners into the access holes before tightening them to 7 n.m (62 lb in). The access plug should be inserted into the hole before you attach the outside Door Handle rod to the Door Latch Assembly by placing it into the retainer clip and closing it. Inspection of the Door Handle operation occurs before restoring the water deflector. The final steps include applying the water deflector followed by putting on the door trim panel.
