  A: To change the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, disconnect the maf/iat sensor electrical connector, and the clamps that attach the maf/iat sensor assembly to the air cleaner and intake air duct. Carefully handle the maf sensor; do not do drop it nor damage screen at the air inlet end nor touch the sensing elements and prevent access of solvents and lubricants of the sensing elements. Use a little of spo p/n 12345884 lubricant or a soap based which will help in installations. Then, take out the maf/iat sensor from the air cleaner and intake air duct, removing it gently. For installation, ensure you install the maf/iat sensor into the air cleaner and intake air duct, install the clamps to attach the assembly and tighten them at 3 n.m (26 lb in). Finally, reconnect the electrical cable of the maf/iat sensor.
