The first step to service the vehicle speed sensor is to lift the vehicle on jack stands and stabilize it properly. Unplug the vehicle speed sensor electrical connector before removing its retaining bolt along with the sensor (131). After installing the vehicle speed sensor use a torque wrench to fasten the retaining bolt (131) to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs. factors). After putting back the sensor connector end seal the safety stands.
