How to replace the brake master cylinder on 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier?

To replace the brake master cylinder: first remove the electrical connector from the low brake level sensor switchu and remove the brake from the master cylinder , plug the open brake to stop fluid loss and contamination. Simply remove the master cylinders mounting nuts and extract the master cylinder out of the booster . The application of the master cylinder is done by placing the master cylinder onto the booster, and applying the master cylinder mounting nuts with torque to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). Install the brake pipes to the master cylinder, tightening the brake pipe tube nuts (23 Nm/17 ft. lbs.) and reattach the electrical connector to the low brake fluid level sensor switch. Refill the master cylinder to an appropriate level with clean brake fluid, and bleed the hydraulic brake system.
