How to replace the engine mount on 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier?

Starting the Engine Mount replacement process requires disconnecting the negative Battery Cable first. Unscrew the bolt that attaches the coolant recovery tank from its place before setting the tank aside. The engine support fixture (J28467-360) should be installed followed by lifting the engine off the mount. First unfasten the mount to body nuts and after that remove the bolts connecting the engine bracket to the mount before extracting the Engine Mount assembly. Place the Engine Mount assembly properly before attaching all body mount nuts without completing any final tightening. Tighten the engine bracket bolts to the mount at 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.) while further torquing them by 90 degrees. Secure the mount body nuts until they reach 75 nm torque (55 ft. Lbs. Torque). The maintenance process concludes by taking out the engine support fixture (J28467-360) after which you can reinstall the coolant recovery tank and reconnect the negative Battery Cable with a bolt torque of 16 nm (12 ft. Lbs.).
