How to replace the Engine Mount Bracket on Chevrolet Cavalier? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start the replacement of engine mount strut bracket by lifting and supporting the vehicle. The work starts by removing the right splash shield followed by the removal of the engine mount strut. Begin by removing the A/C Compressor together with its attached lines while placing it to the side and afterward removing the transmission brace from the engine. The next sequence involves removing the engine mount strut bracket bolts as well as the Engine Mount Bracket strut. Install the engine mount strut bracket after placing its components while tightening front bolts to 66 nm (49 ft. Lbs.) and rear bolts to 66 nm (44 ft. Lbs.). Occupy all steps in this sequence starting with positioning the transmission brace to the engine and then placing the A/C Compressor then the engine mount strut lastly the right splash shield before finally lowering the vehicle.
