The first step for adjusting the cruise control release switch requires removal of the LH I/P lower insulator panel. The cruise control release switch needs proper mounting to the bracket through a downward force until audible bracket movements are heard. Grip the clutch pedal while pulling it all the way back against its stop to both listen for switch movements as well as the associated clicks during adjustment. Reinstall the LH I/P lower insulator panel as the last step.
