How to replace the cruise control switch on Chevrolet Corvette?

The replacement of the cruise control release switch requires removing the LH I/P lower insulator panel initially. First disconnect the cruise control release switch electrical connector before removing the switch from its mounting bracket. When installing the cruise control release switch place it on the switch bracket while making sure you hear both audible clicks to confirm it is fully seated. Then, reconnect the electrical connector. Check switch position by grasping the clutch pedal and pulling it all the way back to the pedal stop then listen for audible clicks when the switch settles into its correct position. Place back the LH I/P lower insulator panel after conclusion of the task.
