How to replace the front bumper fascia emblem on 2000 Chevrolet Corvette?

The front bumper fascia emblem can be replaced after preheating it to 32°-38°C (90°-100°F) to help with removal. Then peel the emblem from its designated surface on the fascia. The remaining adhesive on the fascia needs removal with a stripe removal disc combined with 3M(R) General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 08984. Clean the cut surface of fascia with 3M(R) General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 08984 before heating emblem and fascia contact area to a temperature between 32-38°C (90-100°F). Then remove the protective liner from the emblem adhesive. Press down on the emblem while lining it up with the fascia locator holes until the adhesive becomes secure and finish with a hand roller.
