How to service the muffler on 2000 Chevrolet Corvette?

In order to service the muffler, lift the vehicle and support it. Take out the rear stabilizer shaft parts and remove the muffler off the hanger. Take the fuel tank shield off then take the muffler out. Installation requires attaching the muffler, refitting the shield of the fuel tank and connection of the exhaust pipes and then lowering the vehicle.
