How to replace the Brake Proportioning Valve with ABS on 2000 Chevrolet Impala?

Raise and thoroughly support the vehicle before you begin to replace the proportioning valve with ABS. Make sure to wipe away dirt and foreign items from the brake pipes and the proportioning valve . Make sure to use a back up wrench and disjoin the brake pipe fittings from the proportioning valve before removing it. Place the new proportioning valve and make sure to follow all fastener guidelines in Service Precautions. Make sure to tighten the Proportioning Valve Tube Nut to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.) after connecting the brake pipe fittings to the proportioning valve with a back up wrench. Once you have finished, lower the vehicle and then bleed the brakes.
