  A: You should start the vacuum Brake Booster service and repair by taking off the air cleaner assembly. Take off the underhood junction block bracket before separating it from the block. Pull out the master cylinder from the booster while keeping the insulator safe between the front of dash and the booster. Disengage the vacuum hose from the vacuum check valve then take off the left sound insulation module. Tilt the vacuum booster slightly while rotating the booster pushrod off the pedal clevis pin instead of using excessive side pressure. Settle the new booster in position then connect the booster pushrod to the Brake Pedal . During setup gently move the booster to line up the pushrod with the pedal then press and fit them together. Use 27 nm torque to fasten the booster to Brake Pedal nuts before putting back the left sound insulator.
